Collapsing Afghanistan & Pakistan Refuse to Cooperate with Obama Photo Op
President Barack Obama sneaked in and out of Afghanistan by the cover of night, his advance security team clearly too worried about the situation in Kabul to allow him to appear in public by day. And they would have been right, since shortly after Obama departed, Taliban hit a foreign workers’ guest house (which was [...]

She just seems to be someone that was always in my twitter stream, always in my facebook newsfeed (well, her blog). Her cute little smile pops [...]

Our World
In the early months after we lost Hadley, during those foggy seconds of awakening, I would realize my life all over again. The air in the room would be sucked away and my feet would feel too heavy to lift out of bed. Each and every morning at 6 a.m. I would then go through [...]

IL-2 Day Two

Just got off face time with my boys (technology is awesome). They were being their goofy selves and it was nice to see their faces. It’s funny to think that it’s only been since yesterday morning but it feels like so much longer.
I had my 4th dose of the IL-2 this afternoon at 4 o’clock. No major reactions, but we’re keeping pretty up on the pre-meds to avoid things like headaches and nausea. I’ve been feeling fairly tired and beat up for the past couple of hours. My central line is sore because she just changed my bandages and I am in need of shower and clothes change, but might as well wait until the morning now.
